Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love underwent surgery on his left thumb this week to repair a ligament injury suffered during the team\u2019s preseason opener against the New York Jets. The injury, to his non-throwing hand, was initially managed with tape and rest, but team doctors and Love agreed that surgery would give him the best chance to be fully healthy for the start of the regular season.
