Despite the signal-caller change, the Browns drove deep into Baltimore territory late in the game but couldn\u2019t convert on three straight incompletions inside the 25-yard line, turning the ball over on downs. Sanders admitted that his performance was \u201crough\u201d and noted the need for further development in timing with veteran receivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said the team trusts all players, including Sanders, but reinforced that Gabriel remains the starter if he’s cleared from concussion protocol. Gabriel was tackled hard and suffered a helmet-to-ground hit.
