Campbell finished his collegiate career with 1,880 points, a record that still stands, along with top-tier rankings in blocks, rebounds, and total games played. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his time at Clemson (1986\u20131990), Campbell was a three-time All-ACC selection and helped lead the Tigers to their only regular-season ACC championship in 1989\u201390. The season culminated in a run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament \u2014 the deepest NCAA postseason appearance for many Clemson fans of that era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After college, Campbell was drafted 27th overall by Los Angeles Lakers in the 1990 NBA Draft and went on to enjoy a 15-season professional career. He played for multiple franchises \u2014 including the Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and Detroit Pistons \u2014 and earned an NBA championship ring with the Pistons in 2004.
