Florida Panthers Win Second Straight Stanley Cup with Game 6 Victory Over Oilers

The Florida Panthers have claimed their second consecutive Stanley Cup title after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5–1 in Game 6 of the Finals. The championship-clinching game took place Monday night in Sunrise, Florida, and capped off a dominant playoff run for the Panthers.

Forward Sam Reinhart delivered a historic performance, scoring four goals—including an empty-netter to complete a rare Finals hat trick. His efforts helped the Panthers build an early lead and maintain control throughout the night. Matthew Tkachuk also found the net, while veteran goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves to shut down Edmonton’s offense.

With this win, Florida becomes the first team since the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021 to win back-to-back titles. The Panthers have now won 11 of their last 12 playoff series, signaling a potential new era of dominance in the NHL. Captain Aleksander Barkov lifted the Cup for the second year in a row as the home crowd erupted in celebration.
