The New York Jets have signed star wide receiver Garrett Wilson to a four-year contract extension worth $130 million, with $90 million guaranteed. The deal, which ties Wilson to the team through the 2030 season, marks one of the most lucrative wide receiver contracts in NFL history, particularly for a player just three years into his career.
Since being drafted 10th overall in 2022, Wilson has emerged as a consistent offensive force, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons—a first for any Jets player. Despite playing with seven different quarterbacks during that span, he’s totaled 279 receptions, 3,249 yards, and 14 touchdowns, including career-best numbers last season. The extension signals the Jets’ commitment to building around Wilson as they enter a new chapter under head coach Aaron Glenn and newly acquired quarterback Justin Fields, who previously played alongside Wilson at Ohio State.
