Alyssa Thomas Becomes First in WNBA to Record Three Straight Triple-Doubles

Alyssa Thomas etched her name deeper into the WNBA record books Thursday night, becoming the first player in league history to notch triple-doubles in three consecutive games. The Phoenix Mercury star posted 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in a commanding 95–60 victory over the Indiana Fever, giving her 19 career triple-doubles—by far the most all-time. Over her three-game streak, Thomas has tallied 41 points, 33 rebounds, and 32 assists.

Thomas’s milestone assist came late in the fourth quarter, when she found DeWanna Bonner for a corner three. Bonner finished with a season-best 23 points, while Satou Sabally contributed 15 points and eight rebounds, and Kahleah Copper added 11 points. Indiana was led by Sophie Cunningham’s 18 points on 5-for-8 shooting from deep, with Kelsey Mitchell adding 12. The 35-point margin marked the Mercury’s third-largest win in franchise history, pushing their record to 19–11—matching their total wins from last season.
