Philadelphia Eagles’ Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson suffered a right leg injury during an open practice on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field. He was unable to bear weight on the leg and was helped off the field before being carted to the locker room for further evaluation. The injury occurred during late-stage 11-on-11 drills, and though Dickerson was removed from Saturday’s injury report, he had been limited due to a knee issue. The team has not released details on the injury’s severity, but Dickerson is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday.
A key part of a dominant offensive line and a three-time Pro Bowl selection, Dickerson’s status is now a concern heading into the preseason. The Eagles won’t list Roster depth concerns as backups such as Brett Toth, who has filled in at left guard before, may need to step up if Dickerson is sidelined.
