Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was cited early Saturday morning in Strongsville, Ohio, after police said he was clocked driving 100 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone. The incident happened around 2 a.m. on Interstate 71, only hours after the Browns returned from their preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. Garrett was fined $250 and is not required to appear in court.
This is not Garrett’s first speeding offense—records show it is his eighth such citation since entering the league in 2017. In 2022, he was involved in a single-car crash that left him injured, with investigators citing excessive speed as a factor. The Browns have recently faced multiple traffic-related incidents, including two earlier this year involving rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
