Angel Reese continues to make waves in her WNBA season, notching a standout performance on Sunday as the Chicago Sky defeated the Los Angeles Sparks, 92–85.
Reese posted a season-high 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record four consecutive games with 15 or more rebounds. Her rebounding streak includes totals of 19, 17, 18, and 16 boards in her last four outings, solidifying her reputation as a dominant force on the glass.
Beyond her rebounding efforts, Reese delivered in clutch moments, scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter, including a key three-point play that extended Chicago’s lead to double digits late in the game. She also added seven assists and two blocks, showcasing her all-around game and impact on both ends of the court.
The game took place on a historic night for the Sparks, who retired Candace Parker’s No. 3 jersey at halftime. Parker, a two-time MVP and three-time WNBA champion, spent most of her career with Los Angeles before finishing her playing days with the Sky and Las Vegas Aces.
As the Sky continue to push for playoff positioning, Reese’s consistent dominance on the boards and growing offensive presence are proving to be vital assets in their campaign.
