Yankees Belt Nine Home Runs to Tie Franchise Record in Rout of Rays

The New York Yankees powered their way into the record books Tuesday night, blasting nine home runs in a 13–3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays, tying the franchise mark for most in a single game.

The fireworks began immediately, as Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton hit three straight homers in the first inning. Bellinger and Stanton each finished with two long balls, while Judge connected for his 40th of the season. José Caballero, Jazz Chisholm Jr., and Ben Rice also went deep to complete the barrage.

The offensive explosion made the Yankees the first team in Major League history to notch two separate nine-homer games in the same season. Meanwhile, starter Carlos Rodón provided stability on the mound, going six innings and earning his 13th win of the year as New York extended its late-season momentum.
